Booking
Terms and Conditions - Please Read
1. PARTIES
1.1 In all cases TravelTradeVillas.com act only as booking agents on behalf of
the owner of the accommodation.
1.2 The agent that submits the booking form is deemed to act as agent for all other clients
in the party and such
persons shall be jointly and severally
bound and liable hereunder.
2. DEPOSIT
2.1 The agent shall (save where 3.2 below applies) upon submitting the booking form pay a deposit of
£50 per property booked.
2.2 A security deposit to cover damage to the property and long distance phone calls may be required in resort.
3. PAYMENT
3.1 Upon receipt of deposit TravelTradeVillas.com shall supply the agent with a confirmation/invoice which will advise the
date that the balance is due (4 weeks prior to departure). Further reminders are not normally sent.
3.2 In the event of the client making a booking under 4 weeks prior to departure the full amount is due at the time of booking.
4. CANCELLATION
4.1 If the client cancels the booking the following charges are due:
31 days or more prior to departure - deposit only.
30 days or less prior to departure - 100% of total booking price.
The date of cancellation shall be deemed to be the date that
TravelTradeVillas.com receives written notification.
4.2 TravelTradeVillas.com shall be entitled to cancel the booking by written notice to the client if the client is more than
7 days in arrears under clause 3 above.
5. ALTERATIONS
5.1 If we have to change the accommodation in a significant way (i.e. change of town/city or lower grade accommodation) we will
advise you as soon as we are aware. You
will then have the option to cancel the booking with no penalty. You will not have this option if any alteration is the result of
Force Majeure (see below 5.2). We will always use our best efforts to
ensure that your location requests are adhered to. However if a property is
withdrawn from our programme by the owner, where possible we will offer an
alternative of similar or superior specification.
5.2 FORCE MAJEURE
TravelTradeVillas.com cannot be held liable if it is unable to fulfil it’s contract with you due to strikes, national or
local disasters, riot, war or threat of war, accident,
fire, flood, Act of God, or government intervention.
5.3 If
TravelTradeVillas.com
cancels the booking pursuant to clause 5.2 the company will refund all monies paid to
TravelTradeVillas.com
.
6 INDEMNITY
6.1 If the actions of any of your clients cause damage to the accommodation that
TravelTradeVillas.com has supplied, the client agree
to fully indemnify the company against
any claim, including legal costs made against us on behalf of, or by, the property owners.
7. COMPLAINTS
7.1 We receive a very low number of complaints, well below the industry norm and those that we do receive are normally settled
amicably. If you do have a problem with your
accommodation you must follow our complaints procedure in resort. This procedure is supplied to you with the final documentation
prior to your holiday. If you do not follow
this simple and effective procedure no complaints will be considered on your return. Any compensation is limited to the rental
amount paid to TravelTradeVillas.com
8. INSURANCE
8.1 It is a condition of TravelTradeVillas.com accepting your booking that all persons staying in our accommodation have
adequate holiday and medical insurance cover.
9. SURCHARGES
9.1 In the event of Sterling dropping below £1 = $1.48 a currency surcharge may apply.
9.2 If any such surcharge is unacceptable the client may cancel without penalty.
